As part of the Montreal Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) project, Equans Transport Canada (ETC) teams have been carrying out, since August 2019, the study, supply, construction and commissioning of the catenary over a distance of 67 kilometers (double track) for the entire network.
End of 2020, ETC completed the first section of the test track (4,3km of double track) and continues its journey towards the completion of the project in order to facilitate travel in the Greater Montreal region by serving the entire metropolitan area: The long-term objective is to improve the speed of travel through the 26 passengers stations connecting the strategic points of Saint-Eustache, Saint-Anne-de-Bellevue, Montreal Airport (YUL) to the city center and the South shore region.
ETC continues its activities with its railway vehicles freshly delivered to Canadian territory to deploy specific installation techniques and guarantee our customer's satisfaction.
